Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the water outlet tube. Refer to Water Outlet Tube Replacement (6.6L (LB7) Engine) or Water Outlet Tube Replacement (6.6L (LLY) Engine) in Engine Cooling.
  2. Disconnect the fuel feed line quick connect fitting. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Metal Collar) .
  3. Remove the fuel injection control module upper banjo bolt and washer.

  5. Reposition the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) coolant pipe hose clamp.
  6. Remove the EGR coolant pipe hose.
  7. Remove the EGR coolant pipe bolts.
  8. Remove the EGR coolant pipe.

  10. Remove the fuel feed pipe nut and clip bolts.
  11. Remove the fuel feed pipe.
