Installation Procedure

  1. Lubricate the CMP sensor O-ring with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the CMP sensor.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the CMP sensor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the cooling fan pulley. Refer to Cooling Fan Pulley Replacement (6.6L (LB7) Engine) or Cooling Fan Pulley Replacement (6.6L (LLY) Engine) in Engine Cooling.
