Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (Single Battery) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (Auxiliary Battery) in Engine Electrical.
  2. Remove fuel fill cap.
  3. CAUTION: Refer to Safety Glasses and Compressed Air Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Using compressed air, blow any dirt out of the quick-connect fitting.

  6. Squeeze the plastic retainer release tabs.

  8. Pull the connection apart.
