Installation Procedure

  1. Install the glow plug(s).
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the buss bar (2) and wiring, if equipped.

    Tighten:  Tighten the plug to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

  4. Install the harness to the desired glow plug(s) (1).
  5. Install the glow plug nuts to the desired glow plug(s).

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  7. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  8. Install the wheelhouse panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  9. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (Single Battery) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (Auxiliary Battery) in Engine Electrical.
