Installation Procedure

- If a crows foot is used to torque the sensor then special attention to the position of the crows foot in relation to the torque wrench is required.
- Install the sensor and a NEW metal gasket to the function block.
- If the crows foot is kept perpendicular (90 degrees) to the torque wrench during the entire tightening procedure, then the torque wrench can be set to the listed torque specification.
Tighten: Tighten the sensor to 70 N.m (52 lb ft).
- Connect the sensor (1) electrical connector.
- Install the A/C compressor. Refer to Compressor Replacement (L18) or Compressor Replacement (LB7) or Compressor Replacement (LR4, LM7, and LQ4) in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning.
