Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fuel pipes bundle.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the fuel pipes bundle nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).

  3. Fig 1: Fuel Pipes Bundle & Nuts (Cab/Chassis W/Balance Pump)

  4. Connect the pressure balance pump electrical connector (1).

  6. Install the auxiliary fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Pickup)  or Fuel Tank Replacement (Cab/Chassis - Front)  or Fuel Tank Replacement (Cab/Chassis - Rear) .
  7. Install the front fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Pickup)  or Fuel Tank Replacement (Cab/Chassis - Front)  or Fuel Tank Replacement (Cab/Chassis - Rear) .
