Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the junction block to fuel injection pump fuel feed pipe.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fitting to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).

  3. Install the water outlet tube. Refer to Water Outlet Tube Replacement (6.6L (LB7) Engine) or Water Outlet Tube Replacement (6.6L (LLY) Engine) in Engine Cooling.
  4. Install the engine wiring harness. Refer to Engine Wiring Harness Assembly Replacement .
  5. Install the charged air cooler inlet duct to the turbocharger.
  6. Align the mark on the duct (2) with the mark on the turbocharger.
  7. Position the clamp (1) as shown for proper clearance.

    Tighten:  Tighten the clamp to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  9. Install the charged air cooler outlet duct to the intake.
  10. Align the mark on the duct (3) with the mark on the turbocharger.
  11. Position the clamp (1) as shown for proper clearance.

    Tighten:  Tighten the clamp to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  13. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  14. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (Single Battery) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (Auxiliary Battery) in Engine Electrical.
