Removal Procedure

  1. Remove right exhaust pipe. Refer to Exhaust Pipe Replacement - Right (6.6L (LB7) Engine) or Exhaust Pipe Replacement - Right (6.6L (LLY) Engine) in Engine Exhaust.
  2. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve cooler tube to bracket (2) bolts.

  3. Remove the EGR bracket to cylinder head bolts (1).

  4. Remove the bracket.
