Installation Procedure

  1. Remove the bracket.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the EGR bracket to cylinder head bolts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  3. Fig 1: EGR Bracket To Cylinder Head Bolts

  4. Install the EGR valve cooler tube to bracket (2) bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  6. Install right exhaust pipe. Refer to Exhaust Pipe Replacement - Right (6.6L (LB7) Engine) or Exhaust Pipe Replacement - Right (6.6L (LLY) Engine) in Engine Exhaust.
