Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the cooling fan pulley (2). Refer to Cooling Fan Pulley Replacement (6.6L (LB7) Engine) or Cooling Fan Pulley Replacement (6.6L (LLY) Engine) in Engine Cooling.
  2. Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector (1).

  3. Remove the CMP sensor bolt.
  4. Remove the CMP sensor.
