Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 GMC Sierra, 2004 GMC Cab & Chassis Sierra, 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, and 2004 Chevrolet Cab & Chassis Silverado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the sensor to the bracket.
  2. Install the bracket (with sensor).
  3. Connect the vacuum line to the sensor.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the boost sensor bracket bolt (4).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Connect the boost sensor electrical connector (1).

  7. Install the upper intake manifold cover.
  8. Install the upper intake manifold cover to the outlet duct.
  9. Tighten the outlet duct clamp at the upper intake manifold cover.

    Tighten:  Tighten the clamp to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
