Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  2. Remove the glow plug relay. Refer to Glow Plug Relay Replacement (Federal Emissions)  or Glow Plug Relay Replacement (California Emissions) .
  3. Remove positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve hose.
  4. Remove the air intake pipe to turbocharger bolts.
  5. Remove the air intake pipe (1) from the turbocharger (3).
