Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement (4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L Engines) or Engine Sight Shield Replacement (6.0L Engine w/RPOs Y91 and Z88) in Engine Mechanical-4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L.
  2. Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector (1).

  4. Remove the MAP sensor (1).
