Installation Procedure

  1. Remove the caps from the fuel feed and EVAP lines.
  2. Install and connect the EVAP FLVV line (3) line to the sending unit and retaining clips. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
  3. Install and connect the EVAP purge line (2) to the sending unit and retaining clips. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .

  5. Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Pickup)  or Fuel Tank Replacement (Pickup - 5.3L (L59) Engine)  or Fuel Tank Replacement (1500 Crew Cab)  or Fuel Tank Replacement (Cab/Chassis - Front)  or Fuel Tank Replacement (Cab/Chassis - Rear) .
