Removal Procedure

- Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Disconnect the canister vent solenoid (CVS) electrical connector (1).
- Remove the CVS bracket bolt.
- Disconnect the CVS line from the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
- Remove the CVS from the vehicle.
- If necessary, remove the CVS from the CVS bracket.
