Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 GMC Sierra, 2004 GMC Cab & Chassis Sierra, 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, and 2004 Chevrolet Cab & Chassis Silverado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. If necessary, install the CVS to the CVS bracket.
  2. Install the CVS to the vehicle. Ensure the locator tab is inserted into the frame hole.

  4. Connect the CVS line to the canister. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the CVS bracket bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  6. Connect the CVS electrical connector (1).

  8. Lower the vehicle.
