Filler Tube: Installation

Install a new seal (2) into the transmission case. See Figure . Install the filler tube (1) into the seal. Remove the drain pan. Lower the vehicle. Install the nut (2) securing the filler tube to the exhaust manifold stud (1). See Figure . Tighten the nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install the filler tube indicator. Fill transmission with appropriate fluid to proper level.
