Removal Procedure

- Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Remove the rear propeller shaft. Refer to Propeller Shaft Replacement - One Piece or Propeller Shaft Replacement - Two Piece in Propeller Shaft.
- Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement .IMPORTANT: The clutch actuator hose can remain connected to the clutch actuator. Disconnecting the hose from the clutch actuator will allow the hydraulic fluid to drain from the hydraulic system.
- Remove the clutch actuator cylinder bolts. Do not disconnect the hose from the actuator.
- Remove the clutch actuator cylinder.
- Remove the front oil seal using J 23907 (2) and J 44748 (1).
