Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

    If equipped with a 6.6L engine, disconnect the backup lamp switch electrical connector (3).

  3. If equipped with a 8.1L engine, disconnect the backup lamp switch electrical connector (4).

  5. Remove the backup lamp switch.
