Installation Procedure

  1. Install the assist handle to the vehicle.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the assist handle screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  4. Fig 1: Installing Rear Assist Handle

  5. Install the center pillar trim panel. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Center Pillar  .
