Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 GMC Sierra, 2004 GMC Cab & Chassis Sierra, 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, and 2004 Chevrolet Cab & Chassis Silverado. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
IMPORTANT: This procedure calls for the replacement of incandescent bulbs only. The light emitting diodes (LEDs) are not replaceable individually. If LED replacement is needed, send the cluster to an AC Delco Service Center. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Replacement .
  1. Install the bulb to the base.
  2. Install the bulb into the cluster by inserting the bulb and base assembly and turning the bulb 1/2 turn clockwise.

  4. Carefully snap the rear cover plate to the IP cluster.

  5. Install the IP cluster. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Replacement .
