Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the window partially up.
  2. Remove the trim panel upper extension. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Upper Extension .
  3. Remove the manual door lock lever.
  4. Remove the manual window handle, if equipped. Refer to Window Handle Replacement .
  5. Remove the door switch panel, if equipped. Refer to Switch Replacement - Door Lock and Side Window - Driver  and Switch Replacement - Door Lock and Side Window - Passenger .
  6. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (With YE9 Early Production)  or Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (With YE9 Late Production) .
  7. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
  8. Remove the window run channel front bolt attachment.
  9. IMPORTANT: Do not remove the bolts.
  10. Loosen the 2 retaining bolts (2) from the window assembly.
  11. Remove the window (3) from the door by sliding the window out through the top.
