Removal Procedure

- Raise the window partially up.
- Remove the trim panel upper extension. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Upper Extension .
- Remove the manual door lock lever.
- Remove the manual window handle, if equipped. Refer to Window Handle Replacement .
- Remove the door switch panel, if equipped. Refer to Switch Replacement - Door Lock and Side Window - Driver and Switch Replacement - Door Lock and Side Window - Passenger .
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (With YE9 Early Production) or Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (With YE9 Late Production) .
- Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
- Remove the window run channel front bolt attachment.
- Loosen the 2 retaining bolts (2) from the window assembly.
- Remove the window (3) from the door by sliding the window out through the top.
IMPORTANT:
Do not remove the bolts.
