Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Access Door .
  2. Remove the stationary window.
  3. Remove the inside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Inside .
  4. Remove the outside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Outside .
  5. Remove the upper and lower door latches. Refer to Latch Replacement - Side Door Upper  and Latch Replacement - Side Door Lower .
  6. Remove the door speaker.
  7. Remove the weatherstrip from the door. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Side Door Opening .
  8. Disconnect the door wire harness. Refer to Wiring Harness Replacement - Door .

  10. Remove the front door striker. Refer to Striker Replacement - Door .
  11. Remove the door check link bolt from the pillar side.
  12. Remove the hinge retaining clips.

  14. With an assistant, lift the door up from the hinge pins and remove the door from the vehicle.
