Circuit Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 GMC Envoy XL, 2002 GMC Envoy, and 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The Service indicator (4WD) lamp is located in the instrument cluster. It shares the instrument cluster's common power and ground. The transfer case shift control module controls the Service indicator (4WD) lamp by sending the instrument cluster a Class 2 message. This lamp maybe control with the scan tool using the instrument cluster device controls.
