Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the rear propeller shaft. Refer to PROPELLER SHAFT REPLACEMENT - REAR in Propeller Shaft.

  3. Remove the rear output shaft seal.
