Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.

  1. 5.  This step simulates pressing and releasing a properly functioning traction control switch.
  2. 6.  The traction control switch may be damaged if the traction control switch signal circuit is shorted to voltage.
  3. 7.  This step tests if the ignition 1 voltage circuit can supply adequate power to the traction control switch.
  4. 8.  This step tests if the EBCM is commanding the traction off indicator OFF.
