Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the bellcrank. Refer to BELLCRANK REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors, as needed.
  3. Remove the screws that retain the liftgate latch to the liftgate.
  4. Remove the liftgate latch from the liftgate.
