Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE .
  2. Mark the location of the liftgate latch in order to ensure proper alignment during installation.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors, as needed.
  4. Remove the nuts that retain the liftgate window latch to the latch support.
  5. Remove the liftgate window latch from the liftgate window latch support.
