Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the latch assembly nut or nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

    Inspect the window panel for proper operation.

  2. Install the endgate cover (if removed). Refer to END GATE COVER REPLACEMENT .
  3. Install the endgate or the liftgate trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - END GATE  or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE .
