Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the upper and the lower seat belt anchor bolts.
  2. Remove the coat hook. Refer to COAT HOOK REPLACEMENT (EXTENDED/CREW CAB PICKUP)  or COAT HOOK REPLACEMENT (STANDARD CAB PICKUP)  or COAT HOOK REPLACEMENT (UTILITY) .
  3. Remove the door sill trim plate. Refer to DOOR SILL PLATE REPLACEMENT .

  4. Remove the screws that retain the body side trim panel to the vehicle.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors, as needed.
  6. Remove the shoulder belt opening trim cover.
  7. Feed the seat belt through the trim cover.
  8. Remove the body side trim panel from the vehicle.
