Installation Procedure

CAUTION:
In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.
- Install the carpet or the mat to the vehicle.
- Install the body hinge trim panels. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - LEFT HINGE PILLAR and to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT HINGE PILLAR .
- Install the floor console or cup holder, if equipped. Refer to the appropriate procedure:
- Install the body side trim panels as necessary. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - BODY SIDE (STANDARD CAB PICKUP) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - BODY SIDE (EXTENDED CAB PICKUP) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - BODY SIDE (2-DOOR UTILITY) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - BODY SIDE (4-DOOR UTILITY) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - BODY SIDE (CREW CAB) .
- For 4-door models, install the C-pillar lower trim panels. Refer to TRIM REPLACEMENT - THIRD PILLAR (EXTENDED CAB PICKUP W/ REAR SIDE DOOR) or TRIM REPLACEMENT - THIRD PILLAR (4-DOOR UTILITY) .
- For 4-door models, install the front side door lock pillar garnish moldings. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - SIDE DOOR LOCK PILLAR (CF5) .
- Install the door sill trim plates. Refer to DOOR SILL PLATE REPLACEMENT .
- Install the rear seat belt buckles to the floor. Refer to SEAT BELT REPLACEMENT--REAR (UTILITY) or SEAT BELT REPLACEMENT--REAR (CREW CAB) in Seat Belts.
- Install the rear seats. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT -- REAR (2-DOOR UTILITY) or SEAT REPLACEMENT -- REAR (4-DOOR UTILITY) or SEAT REPLACEMENT -- REAR (CREW CAB) in Seats.
- Install the front seats. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT -- JUMP in Seats.
