Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the body side trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT -- BODY SIDE (STANDARD CAB PICKUP) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT -- BODY SIDE (EXTENDED CAB PICKUP) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT -- BODY SIDE (2-DOOR UTILITY) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT -- BODY SIDE (4-DOOR UTILITY) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT -- BODY SIDE (CREW CAB) .
  2. Remove the jump seat retaining bolts and nuts.
  3. Remove the jump seat from the vehicle.
