Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 GMC Sonoma, 2003 GMC Jimmy, 2003 Chevrolet S10 Pickup, and 2003 Chevrolet Blazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the seat on the 3 seat mounting studs on the floor of the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the seat mounting bolt.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the seat mounting bolt to 70 N.m (52 lb ft).

    Install the seat mounting nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the seat mounting nuts to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

  3. Install the seat adjuster trim covers. Refer to SEAT ADJUSTER TRACK COVER REPLACEMENT - Front (Power)  or SEAT ADJUSTER TRACK COVER REPLACEMENT - Front (Manual) .
