Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the seat adjuster assembly to the seat bottom frame with 4 nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the adjuster to the seat bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

  2. Install the seat back assembly to the seat adjuster assembly with four bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Connect the electrical connectors.

  4. Pull the seat pad and seat cover back down on the seat bottom frame.
  5. Engage the J-strips to the seat bottom frame.

  6. Install the seat belt buckle to the seat.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the seat belt buckle bolt to 70 N.m (52 lb ft).

  7. Install the power seat switch to the seat. Refer to SEAT SWITCH REPLACEMENT - Power .
  8. Install the seat to the vehicle. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - Bucket .
