Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - Bench  or SEAT REPLACEMENT - Bucket .
  2. Remove the adjuster return spring.
  3. Remove the seat belt buckle from the seat.

  4. Disconnect the seat belt electrical pigtail (3) under the seat.
  5. Remove the seat back recliner handle. Refer to SEAT BACK RECLINER HANDLE REPLACEMENT - Front .
  6. Remove the lumbar support knob. Refer to LUMBAR SUPPORT KNOB REPLACEMENT .

  7. Remove the J-strips (1, 2) from to seat cushion frame.

  8. Remove the seat back recliner assembly mounting bolts (1).
  9. Remove the seat back recliner assembly.

  10. Pull the seat cover and cushion (1) up to expose the 4 seat frame mounting nuts (2).
  11. Remove the seat frame mounting nuts (2).
  12. Remove the seat adjuster assembly from the seat.
