Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 GMC Sonoma, 2003 GMC Jimmy, 2003 Chevrolet S10 Pickup, and 2003 Chevrolet Blazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Important:  Use the following procedure in order to adjust the jump seat if the seat is not parallel to the body side trim panel when the seat is in the closed position.

  1. Use a flat-bladed tool in order to carefully remove the adjustment bolt cover.
  2. Turn the bolt clockwise or counterclockwise until the seat trim panel is parallel to the body side trim panel.
