Removal Procedure

CAUTION:

- Disconnect the battery negative cable.
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE REAR DOOR (UTILITY) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE REAR DOOR (EXTENDED CAB P/U ONLY) .
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOOR .
- Remove the water deflector. Refer to WATER DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - DOOR .
- Disconnect the following electrical connectors as necessary
- The power mirror connector (1)
- The power accessory switch connectors (2)
- The power door lock actuator connector (3)
- The power window motor connector (4)
- The cross-body wiring harness connectors (5)
- The speaker connector (6)
- Remove the wiring retainers.
- Remove the door wiring harness from the vehicle.
