Removal Procedure

CAUTION: To prevent personal injury, gloves should be worn when removing broken glass.
  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOOR .
  2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to WATER DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - DOOR .
  3. Remove the weatherstrip. Refer to WEATHERSTRIP REPLACEMENT - WINDOW .
  4. Remove the window run channels. Refer to WINDOW RUN CHANNEL REPLACEMENT .
  5. Lower the window about one half of the way down. In this position, the window regulator rollers will be accessible through the openings in the door panel.
  6. Remove the window from the regulator.
    1. Move the window forward in order to release the sash channel (1) from the rear regulator roller.
    2. Carefully tilt the window forward to a vertical position.
    3. Pull the window upward in order to release the sash channel from the front regulator roller (2).
  7. Remove the window from the door.
