Removal Procedure

Waterproof deflectors are used in order to seal the door inner panel and prevent water from entering the body. The deflector is secured by a strip of adhesive between the water deflector and the door.
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to the appropriate procedure:
- Remove the door speaker if equipped. Refer to the appropriate procedure.
- SPEAKER REPLACEMENT -- FRONT DOOR
- SPEAKER REPLACEMENT -- REAR DOOR in Entertainment.
- Remove the water deflector(s) from the door.
- Remove the water deflector(s) from the rear side door.
- Break the bond between the sealer and the door with a flat-bladed tool in order to remove the deflector(s).
