Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the window weatherstrip. Refer to WEATHERSTRIP REPLACEMENT - REAR DOOR WINDOW .
  2. Remove the door handle bezel. Refer to HANDLE BEZEL REPLACEMENT - INSIDE .
  3. Remove the window regulator handle, if equipped. Refer to WINDOW REGULATOR HANDLE REPLACEMENT - DOOR .
  4. Remove the power window switch, if equipped. Refer to POWER WINDOW SWITCH REPLACEMENT .
  5. Remove the trim panel screws from the armrest. Carefully pry off the cover using a flat-bladed tool.
  6. Use the J 38778  in order to release the door trim panel retainers.
  7. Remove the door trim panel from the door.
