Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the screws securing the seal to the cowl.
  2. Use a flat-bladed tool in order to carefully break the adhesive bond.
  3. Remove the seal from the cowl plenum flange.
  4. Clean the flange. Use a suitable solvent such as a mixture of 50 percent isopropyl alcohol and 50 percent water or high-flash naptha.
  5. Dry the area thoroughly.
