Installation Procedure

  1. Warm body panel with a heat lamp or heat gun to a minimum of 21°C (70°F).
  2. Peel the backing from the front end of the pickup box rear molding.

    Important:  Do not touch the adhesive backing.

  3. Press the pickup box rear molding to the body.

    Ensure that the molding clips are aligned with the body holes.

  4. Hand roll the pickup box rear molding to the body in order to ensure proper adhesion.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

    Tighten 

    Tighten to 2 N.m (18 lb in.)

  5. Install 2 screws to secure the pickup box rear molding to the body panel.
