Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the wiper arm from the shaft. Refer to WIPER ARM REPLACEMENT  .
  2. Remove the nut and the spacer from the shaft.

  3. Remove the interior trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT -- END GATE or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT -- LIFT GATE in Body Rear End.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the controller.
  5. Remove two screws and the wiper motor from the vehicle.
