Removal Procedure

  1. Ensure that the headlamp switch is in the OFF position.
  2. Ensure that the ignition switch is in the LOCK position.
  3. Remove the screws that retain the license plate lamp to the license plate bracket.
  4. Remove the license plate lamp from the license plate bracket.
  5. Rotate the bulb and socket 1/4 turn counterclockwise in order to remove the bulb and socket from the license plate lamp.
  6. Remove the bulb from the socket.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  8. Remove the license plate lamp from the vehicle.
