Removal Procedure

  1. Ensure that the headlamp switch is in the OFF position.
  2. Ensure that the ignition switch is in the LOCK position.
  3. Release the lamp's retainer from the rear bumper by pulling the lamp up and tilting the bottom of the lamp away from the bumper.
  4. Remove the lamp from the rear bumper by rotating it clockwise or counterclockwise

  5. Rotate the bulb socket 1/4 turn counterclockwise in order to remove the socket from the license plate lamp assembly.
  6. Remove the bulb from the socket.
  7. Remove the license plate lamp from the bumper.
