Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE in Engine Electrical.
  2. Squeeze the release tabs in order to remove the dome lamp lens.
  3. Remove the dome lamp bulb.
  4. Remove the screws that retain the dome lamp base to the high mount stop lamp from inside the vehicle.
  5. Remove the dome lamp base from the vehicle.
  6. Disconnect the body wiring harness from the dome lamp/high mount stop lamp.
  7. Remove the high mount stop lamp from the vehicle.
