Removal Procedure

  1. Ensure that the front fog lamp switch is in the OFF position.
  2. Ensure that the ignition switch is in the LOCK position.
  3. Remove the headlamp. Refer to HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY OR HEADLAMP BULB AND/OR CORNERING, SIDEMARKER, PARK, TURN SIGNAL BULB REPLACEMENT .
  4. Remove the grille. Refer to GRILLE REPLACEMENT (GMC) or GRILLE REPLACEMENT (CHEVROLET) in Exterior Trim.

    Important:  Squeeze together the retainer at the back of the turn signal lamp assembly in order to release the assembly from the grille.

  5. Remove the turn signal lamp assembly with the front fog lamp from the grille.
  6. Remove the front fog lamp adjustment screw.
  7. Remove the front fog lamp from the turn signal lamp assembly.
  8. Remove the bulb from the front fog lamp base.
