Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the transmission. Refer to TRANSMISSION REPLACEMENT .
  2. Remove the 2 clutch actuator bolts.
  3. Remove the clutch actuator from the input shaft.

  4. Remove the 6 bolts from the front bearing retainer.

    Carefully remove the front bearing retainer.

  5. Remove the seal from the front bearing retainer by using a hammer and a punch.
  6. Remove the old gasket material from the front bearing retainer.
