Removal Procedure

Raise the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
Place a drain pan under the vehicle.
Remove the electrical connector from the sensor.
Remove the bolt (2).
Using a twisting and pulling motion, remove the vehicle speed sensor (1) from the case.
Remove and discard the O-ring seal (3).
