Installation Procedure

  1. Install the hoist to the rear crossmember. Align the hoist with the rear crossmember and the shaft.
  2. Install the pin and the retainer.
  3. Install the hoist mounting bolts.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the hoist mounting nuts.
    1. Tighten 
    2. Tighten the hoist mounting nuts to 26 N.m (19 lb ft).
  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Install the spare tire to the carrier.
